Fred Clark is one of the most genuine people I know. I have worked with him on some thorny problems and his style is to listen with an open mind and bring people together around practical solutions. I think you can judge character by whether you would want to go camping with someone. Will they paddle hard when the wind is up, help with the dishes and tell a good campfire tale? Fred is at the top of my camping list and he is someone I trust to chart a course in Congress that will help all of us!

I trust Fred because he works with his head and his heart. He will listen to your problems and jump in with offers of help without hesitation. Fred volunteered to help my former students with their reading. He also happens to be a long distance swimmer and was a top fund raiser for the Bayfield Recreation Center.
